Easter comes early this year on March 27th. Thankfully the cold snap should subside Sunday, and we expect a high of 65 degrees in Nellysford – perfect egg hunting weather!
Not only will we have an egg hunt, we will also have face painting, all starting at noon. If that isn’t enough, corn hole will be set up and our kids play area will be ready and waiting!
Easter should not be fun just for the kids – brewery tours will available at 2, 3:30, and 5. We will also have live music from 2-5. Jacob Paul Allen will be performing with no cover charge in the pavilion.
With all this fun happening, one might get a bit hungry! In addition to our regular brunch and menu options, Chef Chris Jack is cooking up some amazing specials just for Easter: Southern fried grit cake with a tomato tapenade, Lamb lollipops over a warm apricot lentil salad with a mustard shallot sauce, mint poached flounder over lima bean succotash with lime beurre blanc, and asparagus quiche with a basil balsamic tomato relish. We have also heard a rumor in the kitchen that Higgin’s (our baker) is making Key Lime pie!
Did you know we have a kids menu too? Kids love our tenders, child’s burgers, grilled cheese and corndogs!
Don’t forget to treat your dogs to a relaxing Easter in our biergarten as well!
