The Hopyard at Wild Wolf Brewing Company
Wild Wolf has it's own hopyard! We have approximately 400 hills of cascade hops. The hopyard is maintained by both ducks and chickens; by eating pests, keeping down the weeds and providing natural fertilization. Our farmyard friends allow our hopyard to remain pesticide free. We provide our chickens and ducks with food scraps from our kitchen and leftover brewers grain as feed. Our chickens also provide us with fresh eggs that we proudly serve on our Sunday brunch menu. Every year we have a hop pickin' party, around the end of August, mark your calendar and plan to join us! The fresh hops that are harvested are freeze dried and used in every batch of Primal Instinct, our west coast style IPA.
